Short Track Mountain Bike Racing Series

Get ready for the 15th edition of the Portland Short Track Series, Portland's signature summer mountain bike race series for young and old!The popular series starts on Monday June 3rd, and runs for 8 weeks through July 29th (no races on July 1). Every Monday, from 5 to 8pm, you can race your mountain bike (or cyclocross bike) with hundreds of other racers of all ages and all levels on a fun and varied course on the infield of PIR. There are 4 race heats and 20 categories to choose from and races typically run for 20-30 minutes. 2019 Series is each Monday night April 15th through May 20th.  Then again June 3rd through June 24th.  No July or August events in 2019.(April: 15, 22, 29; May 6, 13, 20; June 3, 10, 17, 24)DESCRIPTION:Monday Nights Bike Race Series will return for 2019 and it's 23rd year. Come race on a flat, closed, car-free circuit. Separate categories for beginners to more advanced cyclists, including Novice (ages 14 and up), Women (any age), and Masters Men (ages 30+). The race series is a great opportunity for novice-level riders to learn bike racing basics with free clinics throughout the season. Fast and fun racing for everyone. BMW Club High-Performance Driving Day

SCCA Tire Rack Time Trials National Tour

This is a new series from SCCA National Headquarters following up on the Track Night in America program.  Individuals are grouped by experience and car classes.  There can be up to five different events that make up a Time Trials event weekend.  A warm-up period, timed lapping each day and three timed “TrackCross” events, where a segment of the circuit is turned into a quasi-autocross, with the racing line altered with cones.  The times for the four timed events are added up for the final rankings of each class.More Information
