What Does It Take to Put on Your Event at Portland International Raceway?
PIR hosts a great number of different kinds of events often with multiple events going on at the same time around our nearly 300-acre park. Rental rates vary depending upon the kind of event, space needs and whether or not the event demands exclusive use of the property.
Options Include:
The Entire PIR Facility
Including the road course or drag strip, two 250,000 square foot paved paddocks, two towers (including rooms for up to about 25 people for classroom presentations) and on-site parking for around 3,000 vehicles.
Racing. It's Not Just for Cars and Motorcycles.
PIR has become a popular venue for bicycle racing and foot races, using both the 2-mile flat and fast road course, or in combination with exterior roads for a longer lap. It has also been the site for corporate events and fund-raisers all set in an exciting, unique environment.
South Paddock and "Beaches" area
This blacktop area is ideal for cone or slalom/autocross driving and cycling events. The adjacent 6-acre grassy "Beaches" area is a sunny spot surrounded by trees that's perfect for a cruise in, company picnic or anything that requires a large area with an outdoorsy feel.
Road Course and North Paddock
Looking to hold a corporate team-building event or a car club day picnic? This is the option for you. The North Paddock is where the major races set up shop and ready their vehicles but it's all yours for a day of racing excitement.
Drag Strip
Bring your group and your cars out to Late Night Drags on a Friday or Saturday night. We can arrange to have "grudge" matches where you can race against each other for bragging rights. Several groups have combined this type of event as a company, family or friends outing for a truly memorable "day/night at the track."
Think Out of the Box
Our two 6-acre "Broadacre" grassy fields outside the front gate can be used in a variety of ways. In the past we have held RV sales events, kite competitions, obstacle courses and even a Haunted Village for Halloween. Whatever you can imagine we can help you to bring to life.
Concessions
All food and beverage is managed by NW Roots Hospitality, our contracted concessions partner with an on-site office. From simple hot dogs to high-end banquets, NW Roots has done just about anything a customer could imagine at PIR. For a truly unique and memorable experience, make PIR the site of your next event.
