The Retro Run 5K

Sunday, April 14. Regisiter here.

What is "The Retro Run 5K"™?

The Retro Run 5K™ is a unique experience focused less on speed and more on crazy Retro fun with friends and family. Retro runners come in different shapes and sizes and from many different decades- some retro, some not; however everyone has a blast. Whether you are a casual morning walker or an Olympian, the 3 miles of The Retro Run 5K™ course will be the most memorable run of your life!

How does it work?

Dig out your banana clips and acid washed jeans for the kitschy, energetic, family fun, Retro inspired 60's, 70's and 80's 5K & after party. Participants will also enjoy a post-race festival, 80's music, and a costume contest (there is even a prize for best dressed pet).

What do you get?

Not only do you get the best 5K of your life...  every runner gets a Retro Run 5K T-Shirt and Retro Run 5K Sunglasses!

What about the finish line?

Be ready to DANCE!!!  We finish with an 80's party where you get a chance to show off how you get retro.

American Cancer Society Walk

May 11
The journey to end breast cancer starts with a single step, and that step in Portland is at PIR with the Portland  American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Just a few hours of your time will help bring a lifetime of change for people facing breast cancer and their families. Every Making Strides event is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from breast cancer, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services, and access to mammograms for women who need them. Join us in the fight to end breast cancer forever and sign up today. Kiss ME Dirty Fun Run

September 21
Kiss Me Dirty isn't defined by a particular obstacle, a certain city, or a charismatic founder. We're not just about fitness, or motivation, or making anyone "better." Kiss Me Dirty is 100% attitude. Our events are designed to get women off the couch, out of the house and having fun together. In groups. In costumes. In mud. We don't require training or any particular level of athleticism. Instead, we encourage women to "come as you are;" to get a little naughty and a lot muddy in the company of other women who want to let their hair down without the pressure to look or act any particular way. It can get a bit risque at times, but hey, it's all for a good cause: portion of proceeds benefits gynecological cancer research and treatment support.

Bubble Run 5K

September 28
How does the Bubble Run work? It's pretty simple:

Super Simple.

Waves of virginal white runners, walkers, twirlers, dancers or strollers will start every 3-5 minutes. Then, at each kilometer, participants will run through the Bubble Bogs where there is enough colored bubbles and walls of foam to cover you from head to toe!
Each of the four Bubble Bogs along the course are represented by different colored bubbles and foam.
There are a few simple rules.
Rule 1:All levels of runners, walkers, twirlers, dancers and strollers are welcome to the Bubble Run™.
Rule 2: Wear white. That way, your appearance at the finish will be even more pronounced.
Rule 3: Enjoy being a kid again.
